Toast to Broadway a Rousing Success!

Front row: Jeremy Willmoth, Emily Flickinger, Carter Humphreys
Back row: Diana Reese, Piper Leigh, Lindsay Allen, Jen Bechter
Wow. What a night! I am still on a high. The talent we have in Cowley County is ASTOUNDING! Ten TOP-NOTCH performers each doing two songs (of their own choice), a world-class band that rocked the Burford Theatre, led by the incomparable Stephen Butler, a committee of dedicated volunteers to help plan, decorate, AND clean up, wonderful food by Great Western Catering, an amazing Silent Auction, a toast to the newly reformed Ark Valley Players… and on, and on! I was on such a buzz last night that I didn’t sleep until 2 AM!
In all honesty, though, AVP has to thank the wonderful people who partnered with us last night. We filled all but a few seats! The support and love we all felt last night was overwhelming. Just crazy! We thank you from the bottom of our heart!

Jenny Hintereiter, Meghann Borum, Jimmy Borum, Tim Zakharov, Belinda Willmoth, Martha Brandenburg, and Jon Parman
You can BET this will be an annual fundraiser, and we’ll be looking at starting planning in a few short months for next year. If you missed out this go-round, you have next year to look forward to!
Again, thank you-thank you… to all of YOU!

Ark Valley Players Logo Design Contest
The Ark Valley Players Board of Directors is extending the Logo Design Contest through May 20 and are asking all artists to submit more design choices. NO FEE.
AVP is looking for something out of the box; something that is timeless and will carry us through many years. We want something that distinguishes us from the rest.
Design elements to consider (these are only suggestions to get your creative juices flowing):
• Theatre elements: lights, curtains, hands joining together to create a piece of theatre, comedy/tragedy mask
• Community elements: hands, hearts
• South Central Kansas/Northern Oklahoma Landscape: sunflowers, wheat, rolling hills, rivers, trees
The color schemes we are focusing on for branding are black/gold/wine or green/purple.
You may submit as many designs as you wish, but please keep the color scheme in mind. This can be tweaked at a later stage, as well.
If you have PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED a design, there is no need to fill out another entry form.
